Micropac Audio was established in 1968, by the Kanazawa family, as a specialized audio equipment retailer.
In 1968, the name Micropac Audio was legally changed to Micropac,Inc., due to the increased selection of merchandise to include both consumer and professional Audio/ Video equipment, personal electronics, Home & Kitchen appliances, computers, office equipment, CCTV, etc.
Micropac is the Authorized Distributor for Bose, TOA, Tiger, and Yamaha. We are the Dealers for Sony, Mackie, Asus, Lenovo, TP-Link, etc.
Currently, Micropac,Inc. is the island's largest Electronics Retailer with these Retail Stores:
- Micropac,Inc. : 643 Chalan San Antonio, Suite 105, Tamuning, Guam
- Micropac,Inc. Micronesia Mall : Wing #2, by Center Court
- Micropac Pro Micronesia Mall : Wing #2 by Main Entrance
Aside from Retail, Micropac Inc. also established a Wholesale, Service/ Repair, And Commercial/ Installation Department to better serve the island of Guam:
- Wholesale: Bose personal electronics, Sony personal electronics, CCTV DIY kits, etc.
- Our Service Department is located at our Main Store specializing in Electronics, Office Equipment, and Computer Repair.
- Our Commercial Department provides onsite sales, system design, service, and installation specializing in Professional Audio/ Video, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm, Access Control, Small Business Networking, Intercom, etc. We currently serve two of the three shopping malls on island and roughly 90% of the island's Hotels.

Located in Tamuning ( 643 Chalan San Antonio, Suite 105, Tamuning, Guam 96913) , this location is considered the flagship store and office carrying a wide array of products and services. Our Service Department, Accounting Office, and Commercial Department also are located at this venue.
Current Shopping hours are Monday to Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sundays are Closed
Repair Department hours are Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays are Closed.  

MICROPAC PRO MALL STORE

Located in the Micronesia Mall (Concourse 2, Suite 116) , this location offers professional products like PA systems, DIY CCTV Surveillance systems, as well as Tiger Rice Cookers and Iwatani Cooking Instruments.
Hours of operations are Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 9:00pm, Sunday 10:00am to 8:00pm

MICROPAC,INC. MALL STORE

Located in the Micronesia Mall (Concourse 2, Suite 120) , this location offers consumer electronics like televisions, computers, cameras, and so much more in the hustle and bustle of our mall shoppers. Hours of operations are Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 9:00pm, Sunday 10:00am to 8:00pm

BRIEF HISTORY

1968

Established the business under the name of MICROPAC AUDIO,
INC. to provide specialized Audio store for the community in Guam. Service
Department was also established at the same time to provide after
sales support.

1972

Gradually increased selection of merchandise. Store location moved to
to Route 8 Junction Agana, across Agana Cemetary.

1978

Established Partnership with Bose and became Distributor and Service Center

1984

Became Sole agent for Toshiba Audio/Video & Home Appliances
    and other several brands of electronic products. Also, established business of Wholesale Department.

1985

Office and Store moved to new location in Tamuning, along Marine Corp. Drive

1986

Company change its trade name from Micropac Audio, Inc. to
    Micropac, Inc., due to expansion of home & kitchen appliances.

1992

    Jan., Owner and President, Hiroshi Kanazawa has passed away, newly appointed President, Mr. K. Kise assumes leadership.

2002

Store was damaged by Supertyphoon Pongsona on Dec. 08, 2002

Micropac Cargo van was found upside down in the parking as a result of the Supertyphoon Pongsona visit.

2009

Nov. establish Retail business Dededo Branch in Micronesia Mall

 May, 42th Anniversary, Mr. Toshikazu Kanaoka leave company due to sickness of spouse.

2011

March 11, hit 3 tragedies(Earthquake, Tsunami, Nuclear Power Plant) in Japan
   Aug. Mr. Sunny Dacanay joined for Manager of Commercial dept.

2013

July 1st ,Mr. Morishige Nishihira sold all share to Mr. Satoru Kanazawa and
Mr. Satoru Kanazawa take over position of CEO/ President. Mr. Morishige
Nishihira became Chief Operating Officer.

Supertyphoon Mawar hits Guam

After surviving the destructive winds and torrential rain, Guam has been slowly recovering with loss to power, water, phone, internet in most residences- still to this day. Gas crisis has slowly averted with lesser long lines.
